Terms of Use — Wasl Attendance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Wasl Attendance mobile application ("the App"), provided by Start Tech Web Design L.L.C. ("Start Tech", "we", "us") to authorized employees of Hily Holding PJSC and its group companies as part of the Hily Holding Employee Portal, powered by Wasl EP. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Employer-Provided Tool

The App is an internal workforce tool made available to you by your employer. Access is limited to authorized employees using company-issued credentials. Your employer administers your account, your access rights, and the attendance data recorded through the App.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose — recording your own work attendance — and only with your own account. You must not: (a) share your credentials or punch in or out on behalf of another person; (b) attempt to falsify location or attendance data; (c) reverse-engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the App or portal; or (d) use the App in any way that violates your employer's policies or applicable law.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Notify your HR or IT representative promptly of any suspected unauthorized access. We and your employer may suspend access where misuse is suspected.

4. Location and Biometric Features

The App records your precise location at the moment you punch in or out so your employer can verify attendance. Optional on-device biometric confirmation (fingerprint / face) may be used to confirm your identity locally. Use of these features is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, Wasl EP, and the connection mark are the property of Start Tech Web Design L.L.C. and are provided under a limited, non-transferable licence for internal use during your employment. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the App available and accurate but provide it "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn as the service evolves.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Start Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or labour protections.
